About

I’m Doug, a multidisciplinary creative who thrives on collaboration and exploration.

I see creativity as a framework of concepts that can be arranged and prioritized in endless ways, and I love encouraging others to tap into their own creative potential. For me, creating is a way of expressing ideas through alternative languages—constantly evolving through research, experimentation, and new approaches.

I have a natural ability to envision the final outcome of a project, but execution is always an ongoing process of learning and refining. Spontaneity comes easily to me, while structure is more of a challenge, which is why I find collaboration so rewarding. It keeps everything fresh and evolving, and I actively contribute to creative communities, always looking for new ways to engage with others.

I’m originally from the Northeast U.S., and growing up in a mix of city life and nature exposed me to a wide range of influences. Early on, I faced challenges in expressing my creativity—like being forced to switch from left-handed to right-handed—but those experiences only pushed me to create and advocate for others trying to do the same. I’m mostly self-taught, with some formal training, and my passion for learning continues to fuel my work.

Outside of my creative practice, I have a deep love for fragrance, history, and anything art-related. I build Gunpla, bike often, and spend a lot of time with my cat. I’m especially drawn to magic realism and fantasy, with a strong appreciation for whimsy, wonder, and a touch of eeriness. Lately, I find the most inspiration in learning through the stories and passions of others.

For me, success is the fluidity between concept and execution. My goal is for my work to resonate with others—whether by helping them release frustration, unblock creativity, or find connection, healing, and insight.
